Yellow and bold in Western Australia
Fifty kilometres north of Perth, the Allara estate is promoted as a “vibrant, sustainable, coastal community that cleverly integrates affordable living with active open spaces”.
With a maze of bike paths twisting through the terrain, Allara is a “walkable neighbourhood”, with a number of strategically positioned parklands and playgrounds, so developers knew that providing rest stop opportunities for residents is a priority.
The colour yellow is a dominant feature of all things “Allara”, so when Landmark were asked to provide a modified K9500 Caretaker series restroom for one of Allara’s parks, the first thing we reach for was the powder coat colour chart.
The aluminium ventilation screens of this Caretaker, powder-coated in Lemon Yellow, are a stand-out, contrasting with the dark grey (Monument) hot dipped, galvanised and powder coated steel roof frame and posts.
The developers requested the restroom be equipped with a waterproof and vandal resistant double solar light kit, arranged, delivered and installed by Landmark.
Landmark supplied all fitout items – from stainless steel pans to water taps – administered building surveyor certificates, and installed the full unit, including the concrete slab.
It’s yellow, its bold, and if looking for a rest stop while walking through Illara, you won’t miss this restroom.
