BEFORE AND AFTER - TALE OF THREE SHELTERS

The generational shift of park shelter and furniture design is changing the face of open spaces.

With new, advanced building products, park shelters can now easily combine design, strength and durability without compromising aesthetics.

Flexibility in manufacturing can deliver better design for less cost, and many Councils are making the investment to upgrade.

Taking a moment to compare old with new is always informative. Here we show three recently built park shelters in south-east Queensland, comparing to the shelters they replaced.

Park shelters are becoming larger, less intrusive in design, and built with materials that will last and are easily maintained.

CALLIDE PARK. Overlooking the Callide Dam, Landmark supplies four 5 x 5 metre modified Peninsula Shelters, all delivered on site in kit form.

GATTON. Landmark designed, supplies and installed a 5.6 m Goulburn shelter with aluminium freeze panelling – a modern upgrade for this Queensland country town.

CROWS NEST. Two Goulburn shelters (one 5.6m diameter, the other 7m diameter), were designed, supplied and installed in Centenary Park, Crows Nest.
